What is BachataMe?

BachataMe is an online platform, a digital library, and an empowering community.

Digital platform – All in one place: An online platform that gathers everything a bachata dancer might need (except dance classes): articles, interviews, tips, training, mindset, recovery, prevention – no more searching everywhere.
Membership & connection – Soon we will open up the doors for a membership at BachataMe. Here you can connect with bachata dancers worldwide, access promo codes, exclusive content (guides, interviews, articles), and even get featured to highlight amazing dancers and people.
More than dance – A statement. Being part of BachataMe means standing for growth, inspiration, and shared values – both on and off the dance floor. It´s a voice – it´s a statement. Read about our values under “Values & community” here at Q&A.

Is BachataMe fully ready?

BachataMe is still growing – the website is now informative, but new features and updates are constantly on the way.

And just like in dance, it takes time to build up rhythm, flow, and connection.

That means the platform is still growing. In the beginning, you won’t find it fully filled with interviews, articles, projects, and videos just yet – instead, everything is being built step by step together with our members.

What is the goal of BachataMe?

Our mission is to help bachateros reach their full potential, believe in themselves, and dare to dream bigger. At the same time, we want to develop the bachata world into a more positive, healthy, respectful, and inclusive community. Because when we grow through dance, society grows too.

Where is BachataMe located?

We are based in Stockholm, Sweden – but since BachataMe is an online platform, we are not tied to a physical location.

Can I join even if I don’t live in Sweden?

Absolutely! BachataMe is digital and global. Dancers travel often – this platform is here to expand opportunities, create connections, and support your growth wherever you are.

Payments & Refund/Cancellation

What’s the price of a membership?

1 calendar year: Coming soon
6 month (option 1: January – June, or, option 2: July – December): Coming soon

How do I pay for my membership?

All payments are handled securely through Stripe. Simply go to our Become a Member page, choose your membership level, fill in the registration form (including your login details), and complete the payment online.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Through Stripe you can pay with major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc).

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All transactions are processed via Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted and secure payment providers. We never store your card details on our servers.

What happens after I’ve paid?

Right after completing your payment, you’ll receive a welcome email with all the details:

Can I change or upgrade my membership later?

Yes, you can log in to your account at any time to manage your membership level, renewals, or personal details.

Will my membership renew automatically?

No, you’ll receive a reminder before your membership expires so you can renew manually.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel anytime through your account settings. Your membership will remain active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Do you offer refunds?

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once paid. However, if you believe there has been an error with your payment, please contact us at info@bachatame.se and we’ll review your case individually.

Does BachataMe offer dance classes?

Not right now – our focus is everything surrounding your dance growth (mindset, recovery, performance, lifestyle, inspiration). Classes may come later, but for now, we’re building everything else you need to feel balanced, motivated, and confident.

How do I access promocodes and discounts?

Simply become and log in as a member – all promocodes and deals will be available in your dashboard, ready to use.

What does “Opportunities to be featured” mean?

As a member, you can:

How are people selected for the Spotlight?

Everyone featured in the Spotlight is a member of BachataMe. The founder, Yasmin Casaca, personally selects who will be highlighted – based on different aspects, such as:

Their unique and breathtaking dance style
Their journey of growth and dedication
The way they care for others on the dance floor
Or their courage in overcoming personal challenges

Can I apply myself or recommend someone?

es! You can submit your interest by emailing info@bachatame.se or through our contact form here. Write a short introduction about yourself, who you are, and why you should be selected.

Does BachataMe organize physical events or festivals?

For now, everything is only online. But physical projects and events are planned for the future – both in Sweden and abroad.

Can I join workshops through BachataMe?

Not yet – but workshops and special events are something we’re working toward.

What types of services does BachataMe offer?

Right now, our main service is our paid membership, BachataMe Community. If you are not member yet, we offer free content at our Instagram and here at our website. Although, as a BachataMe Member, you’ll unlock exclusive premium content, discounts, features, and a community that truly lifts you higher. More services and projects are coming soon.

What’s the difference between being a member and a non-member?

As a non-member, you can access many of our free articles, tips, and interviews through Instagram and our website.
As a paying member, you´ll get everything above plus:

Why is the membership fee so low?

Because we know dancers already invest a lot in classes, shoes, events, festivals, and socials. We want BachataMe to be affordable for everyone. Ideally, we’d offer it for free, but the fee helps us cover costs and keep developing the platform.

I can’t afford membership right now – are there alternatives?

We try to keep the fee symbolic so that everyone can join. But we also understand that life has seasons. If you’re in a tough spot, reach out to us, and we’ll see what we can do.

How do I become a member?

It’s easy! Go to our membership page, fill out the form, and pay your choice of membership. You’ll then receive a welcome email with your login details.

Is everyone welcome at BachataMe?

Yes – and no. Everyone who believes in respect, positivity, and growth is welcome.
We are inclusive, supportive, and want to lift each other up. But if someone brings negativity, disrespect, or goes against our values, BachataMe is not for them. This is a space for those who strive for kindness, encouragement, and authenticity.

How are ambassadors and crew members selected?

They are handpicked for their expertise, passion, and genuine character. We choose people who are inclusive, inspiring, and believe in more than just dance steps.

Practical Info

Who is behind BachataMe?

BachataMe was founded by Yasmin Casaca, a passionate bachatera from Stockholm, Sweden. Yasmin has a 20 years of experience in martial arts, acrobatics, and dance, as well as coaching and entrepreneurship. Her mission is to help people believe in themselves, grow, and succeed – both on and off the dance floor.

Is BachataMe a registered company?

Yes, we are approved for F-tax and VAT registered in Sweden.
